The team here at Motley Brews is very happy to announce that Las Vegas’ largest handcrafted beer festival will be making some innovative changes to bring a new and unique beer experience to our fair city.
For starters, we’re putting together the biggest, baddest, most stupidly awesome craft beer list Vegas has ever seen. On Saturday, April 26, brewers from around the world will descend on Downtown Las Vegas to pour samples of over 250 brews including one-off production beers, special releases, and festival exclusives, and in the Brewers Lounge expert mixologists will treat VIP’s to handcrafted beer cocktails for a twist on the ordinary.
Now we know that in reality there’s only as many beers as there is space to grab and enjoy them in, which is why we’re switching up the venue and sprawling the festival across streets, lots, and local establishments in the heart of the Fremont East Entertainment District. This development will not only allow plenty of room for access to beer, food, and entertainment, but also lands the festival smack in the middle of the action Downtown, where there will be plenty of options for continuing the party once the festival (as it sadly must) comes to a close.
So that’s the meat and potatoes of the festival. Here comes the gravy. This year we’re stepping up the game by cooperating with the local community to provide a few new ways to experience beer beyond the sampling. Learn more about the craft and culture in the beer world with talks, demos, and guided tastings from Cicerones and Brewmasters in BrewLogic, enter The Gastropub for specially-prepared menus inspired by (and made with) craft beers, chalk up some wins on classic pub-style games in the Human Arcade, break it down at the main stage to some heavy-hitting acts, and so much more. But more on all of that later. For now, get stoked for the 4th Annual Great Vegas Festival of Beer!
